The long and winding road to Canada

Well, it won’t be long now

After a 14 hour day, and two roughly 7 hour days driving, we finally made it to Banff Canada.

Our travels first took us Through Albuquerque on our way to Taos We had the luxury of meeting up with Lola’s sister Anna, and her husband Ray, as well as our niece Marisa, her husband Matt, and our little great nephew Walker. Always good times with family

After we left Taos, We journeyed through Moab, Utah, and further north witha quick stop in Salt Lake City for a bite and a drink with our niece Mariah. Luke got to meet another one of the bad ass women of the family!

The end of the day found us in our third state of the trip in Pocatello Idaho.

Lola and Mariah always having fun!

Yesterday saw us making our way finally, to Whitefish Montana! Our last stop before crossing the US border.

Today Lola finally got to see the incredible sites of the mountains in southern Canada as we approached Banff.

The beauty and majesty of the Snow Cat peaks are stunning It makes me feel so small and happy every time I see these mountains.

We also got to see our first moose And some geese in five little goslings.

Today is our last day of indulgence before we get serious tomorrow.

Tuesday will bring a full day of prepping our bikes, making sure all of our electronics are charged, getting the last bit of food we want to take over the next day or two and mentally preparing to start a journey that will last somewhere around a month.

We don’t know what Wednesday morning will hold as we leave Banff. But we do know that whatever happens we’re going to give it everything we have.

Thanks for following along, it means a great deal to Luke and I.

One more day till we’re Southbound and down once again!

Ride On!
